Perfect for teams, community organizations, and groups of all kinds looking for a hands-on way to give back to San Diego.
Engage your group in meaningful park stewardship while supporting SDPF's mission to enhance and activate San Diego's parks and open spaces. Projects vary based on seasonal needs and may include trail clearing, habitat restoration, planting, mulching, painting, and general park beautification. Come ready to work — and leave knowing you made a real difference.
Group volunteer experiences are approximately 2.5 hours and begin with a brief welcome and overview of the day’s projects, safety information, and tool use.
Group Volunteer Experiences
Make a tangible impact together — roll up your sleeves as a team and leave San Diego's parks visibly better than you found them
Strengthen bonds through shared purpose — hands-on service creates connection that sticks long after the workday ends
Connect employees to their community — your team members are San Diego residents too, and volunteering in local parks means investing in spaces that are open and free to them, their families, and neighbors every single day
Amplify your organization's reach — corporate partners gain recognition through SDPF's network of 6K+ social media followers
