The City of San Diego's Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Community Clean Up! Volunteers will help the maintenance team with tasks, such as:

• Weed removal

• Light raking

• Trimming shrubs

These duties are not an all-inclusive list, more duties may be available as the event gets started. Interested volunteers are encouraged to preregister for the event, but it is not required. 

Although this event is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., volunteers may arrive late or leave early to accommodate their schedule. It is recommended that volunteers wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty, as well as closed-toe shoes while volunteering.
