Imani Robinson

Imani T. Robinson was born in San Diego and became a business owner in 1993. She earned her Associates Degree in Communication in Radio, Television and Film from San Diego City College, and shortly after she launched Imani By Faith Production, specializing in producing special events. The company has continued to grow into project management and consulting for community engagement to assist other organizations.

Imani’s love for the arts started early on. Graduating from School of Creative and Performing Arts continued the love for the arts, leading to serve on the San Diego Arts and Culture Commission. Imani and her children attended schools within the San Diego Unified School District, where volunteering became a way of life. While serving on several School Site Councils and the District Advisory Council, Imani helped ensure Parent Centers at all school sites. As a family and child advocate, Imani continues to fight for equity and equality in underserved communities while serving with Community Recreation Groups and the San Diego Parks Foundation.
